Equalitec seeks to address gender inequality in the Information Technology, Electronics and Communications (ITEC) industries by providing services and resources to individuals and organisations for more effective implementation of diversity policies.

Equalitec's mission today is to:

• work in partnership with key player organisations from the private, public and third sectors to promote best practice in the implementation of gender diveristy policies in ITEC and related industries

• continue raising awareness of the widening range of job roles and career opportunities in ITEC

• continue opening up opportunities for women and other underrepresented groups to access digital technologies and related knowledge and skills

• promote female inventors and innovators in ITEC, and development of solutions that can bring positive social and cultural change.
